EL3D High Performance 1.75 mm PETG 3D printing filament is fast becoming a favorite among users due to its glassy finish, heat resistance and general all around toughness.

PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate glycol) combines the best properties of ABS & PLA. Tougher than PLA and approaching the strength characteristics of ABS without the negatives that come with ABS. This PETG features blended carbon fiber for even greater strength.

This stuff is STRONG!

The folks over at EnviroLaser3D gave me a partial spool they had lying around to test a print and I must say it was some AMAZING stuff. I used intended to use it for a project that was high impact and heavy strain and it holds up better than perfectly. I had never played with PETG nor carbon fiber before so I asked for advice. They old me 60° on the bed and 245° on the nozzle and it was absolutely perfect!
