EL3D® PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a thermoplastic polymer that it is derived from renewable resources, cornstarch or sugar cane. Plastics that are derived from biomass are known as bioplastics. PLA is a fully biodegradable thermoplastic polymer consisting of renewable raw materials.

PLA is easily the most popular material for 3D printing and it’s easy to see why. PLA is very easy to use and is very forgiving for the less experienced user. PLA also comes in an array of different materials with slightly different characteristics as well as a plethora of colors.

Always a pleasure working with this filament...

So good, It made the header of this site

Used this filament to print a bust of Picard. It turned out flawless. Due to the filament being very forgiving and the speckled additive this hides any and all flaws. It is also a very strong result, perhaps due to the additive that gives it the stoney look.

Prints very well and looks amazing

This filament is super fun, it looks great, and does a really good job concealing layer lines. Awesome for display pieces.

This stuff is absolutely beautiful

I used this material for the first time about a month ago. I know use this color everywhere I used to use white. It is very classy. This brand of filament, Hello 3D put out the best quality of filament I have ever used. I bought my role here from a fellow named Corey. He was great! I would shop here again.
